Catch new episodes of Chrisley Knows Best every Thursday at 9 p.m. In a complaint filed last month, the trustee, Jason Pettie, alleged that Chrisley transferred some of his wealth to Julie to protect his assets. But along with the business debt, Chrisley had mortgages totaling $12 million, a delinquent IRS bill for $595,227.98 and even a $4.4 million loan from his wife, Julie – who happens to be a former Miss Carolina. Bankruptcy documents show outrageous spending and spiraling debt. After several lawsuits and judgments against Chrisley in the past decade, he finally filed a petition for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection in August 2012. “In a year, we sometimes spend $300,000 or more, just on clothing,” he says in one promo for the show, which premieres on March 11 on the USA Network.

The Chrisley familyfirst burst on the scene in 2014 with the premiere of their hit reality television show,Chrisley Knows Best. At the time, the family was living large in their Atlanta mansion, located in the same neighborhood as Usher and Chipper Jones. The family later relocated to Nashville, Tenn., where they'd end up weathering many high profile storms.

According to Chrisley is hosted by Todd and features him "tackling the truth about marriage, parenting, sex and relationships." Each episode also features a member of the Chrisley family and a celebrity guest.
Maverick TV and All3Media America were the production companies behind the series. The series producers had access to the Chrisleys' schedule and decided which events to film. The family stated that being on television made them think twice before doing things, both on and off-camera. Julie said, "People are watching, people are looking at you. Whether that be good or bad, they're gonna catch it all." Kyle recently sold a home in Canton, GA. He and wife Alexus Chrisley bought the five-bedroom residence in 2017 for $252,390. They listed the 2,900-square-foot property in April for $499,000.

We didn't know Granny was going to get drunk." Although Nanny Faye and her family lived lavishly on "Chrisley Knows Best," that wasn't always the case for Faye. Her upbringing was in many ways a contrast to the opulent normalcy to which she'd gotten accustomed. Faye hinted at a life of struggle in the episode "Down on the Farm" in the show's 7th season, while addressing her spoilt grandchildren who were glued to their devices.
Although the news is met with sadness by fans, the show's highlights are worth a trip down memory lane. Drama on the long-running show is fairly low-stakes, with family squabbles resolved in the span of a single episode. But real-life drama away from the cameras took center stage this past week when the married couple were convicted of financial fraud and tax evasion.
